This is especially relevant for PvP Shamans, who are likely to be swapping between Elemental Shaman DPSing and Healing as required, and thus you should swap between Elemental Shaman DPS gear and Healing gear for maximum effectiveness. This sort of macro is meant to allow you to easily swap between different sets of weapons / off-hands in combat.
This macro will allow you to automatically start auto-attacking when you cast, without any extra input requirements. If you're trying to take a minimalist approach to your action bars, this can be useful, as it saves you one button. If your target is hostile, however, you'll cast a damage spell ( Blitzschlag) instead. The idea is straightforward: If your mouseover target with this macro button is friendly, you'll cast a heal on them - in this case Geringe Welle der Heilung. These sorts of macros give you two spells in one button. This can easily be applied to other spells/macros, but be careful of accidentally stopping your casts when you don't want to. Since you are probably casting yourself when the timing is right, adding /stopcasting to your macro will automatically stop anything spells are casting at the moment to cast the interrupt instantly. In order to successfully interrupt an enemy, you need to land Erdschock while they are casting. However, if you use #showtooltip Earth Shock at the start of the macro, instead, mousing over your macro will display Erdschock's tooltip. For instance, if you set up a macro to stop casting and instantly cast Erdschock on the target, it will just say Interrupt or whatever you named it as. When you create a macro, the standard tooltip will default to whatever you name your macro. Macros allow you to be more efficient with your key presses, often condensing multiple buttons into a single one, or allowing you to cast at other targets than your selection, as is the case with focus, mouseover and targetoftarget macros.
